Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end ERP upgrade project lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, cutover, and post‑go‑live stabilization. The PM will act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance and ensure alignment of financial modules with regulatory, audit, and business process requirements.

Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end ERP upgrade project lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, cutover, and post‑go‑live stabilization. The PM will act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance and ensure alignment of financial modules with regulatory, audit, and business process requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of the ERP upgrade (planning → execution → testing → go‑live).
- Oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and risk registers.
- Coordinate IT teams, Finance, vendors, and system integrators.
- Serve as liaison between Finance and IT.
- Support Finance through requirements validation, process changes, UAT, data migration, and readiness activities.
- Facilitate decision‑making sessions and workshops.
- Maintain governance, status reports, executive updates, and scope/change management.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, financial close, and business continuity.
- Lead cutover planning, go‑live readiness, training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience with ERP upgrades (strong asset)
- Experience working with Finance teams on financial systems
- Strong understanding of financial processes & system dependencies
- PMP or other Project Management certification preferred
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification considered an asset
- Public sector experience is an asset
- Strong executive‑level communication and reporting skills
