What you'll be doing
As a Senior QA IT Consultant, you will join CIBC’s Enterprise Data Technology department and be responsible for managing both people and projects/programs of over 1 million dollars across multiple line of businesses. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of support services and ensure adherence to standards and operating procedures.

How You’ll Succeed
Understanding Requirements – Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
People Leadership – 1-3 years of management experience leading testing teams and coordination efforts. Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems. Strong background in Quality Assurance (Functional, Automation or Performance Testing)
Relationship Management – Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience with: Must have 7+ years of experience with SQL, Azure, Oracle, DB2, ETL, Tosca, GitHub Copilot, Databricks, a variety of test tools such as HP Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence SOA, Python, Json, Parasoft, Mercury LoadRunner You engage with purpose to find the right solutions. You go the extra mile, because it’s the right thing to do. The role is responsible for providing technical expertise and advice regarding a wide spectrum of existing and emerging testing practices, tools, and processes, leading complex testing projects in compliance with established controls and standards. The role consults with a variety of Technology teams to understand current testing theories and practices, developing testing standards and best practices utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics also independently resolves a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts on cost and efficiency, devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking.
