What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a dynamic team that provides advanced analytics services to assist Business Controls with effective risk management. You’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of actionable analytics solutions which help in strengthening the risk profiles across Personal and Small Business Banking. You’ll collaborate with partners from Business Controls, Risk Management, Product, and Frontline to identify and address emerging risk trends by leveraging data and analytics.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Innovative Problem Solving – Actively lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions. Focus on quality, depth of analysis, and clear communication of actionable recommendations.

Communication – Actively listen to understand a business problem and effectively articulate data analysis and interpretation using language that resonates with your audience.
Consulting – Methodically break down complex business problems, deliver recommendations and grow solutions to create sustainable progress for our projects and programs.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience in using analytical, data management, and visualization tools such as Azure, R, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Power Platform, VBA. Knowledge of CIBC data sources/applications/ platforms is an asset. 3+ years of work experience in a fast paced analytics environment.

You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field or equal work experience preferred.
