What you’ll be doing

The Pension, Benefits & Wellbeing team, part of Rewards, Recognition & Performance within Human Resources, supports the design, development and implementation of the holistic wellbeing strategies that will demonstrate that CIBC truly cares about the Wellbeing of its employees. As a Senior Consultant Pension, Benefits & Wellbeing, you will consult, analyze, and support the design, delivery, and promotion of all of CIBC's wellbeing programs and offerings across all key areas of wellbeing, including mind, finances, body, and life. Using data and analytics you will help evaluate program and strategy effectiveness, drive insights to help advance the strategy/programs and present CIBC's holistic wellbeing approaches to management and team members. You will establish strong relationships with 3rd party vendors to enable you to negotiate related contracts, manage performance, and ensure quality program outcomes.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Strategy Development - Research emerging trends/best practices and maintain benefits and wellbeing knowledge to ensure the design and development of CIBC’s offerings are consistent with our desired market competitive position. Leverage data from various sources to identify trends, track progress toward key performance indicators and program/strategy effectiveness.
  • Program Management - Manage complex and high impact projects through consultation with various business and functional groups, taking into consideration employee experience, risks, funding, laws and regulations. Identify and negotiate project resources (internal and external) to plan and prioritize work and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Program Promotion – Work both alone and in collaboration with Corporate Communications to develop and implement communication plans to support the roll-out of benefits and wellbeing strategic initiatives, program changes, and enhance overall awareness, knowledge, and importance of wellbeing at all levels of the organization (Sr. Leadership, Human Resources, and Employees) globally.
  • Vendor Management - Ensure we are getting best value from our suppliers by understanding their offering, reviewing regular reporting, negotiating and monitoring service level agreements to ensure compliance with all contracts, plan documents, regulations and laws.
