Cyberint, a market leader in External Risk Management, helping organizations to accelerate the detection, response and remediation of their external threats, was recently acquired by Check Point and is looking for an Architect.
We are seeking an Architect to define and lead the technical strategy for Cyberint’s most critical and large-scale projects. This role requires expertise in distributed systems, infrastructure, and application development, coupled with a deep understanding of the security world and Threat Intelligence. The architect will play a pivotal role in setting technical standards, driving innovation, and ensuring scalable, sustainable designs that align with Cyberint’s long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Vision & Strategy:
- Define and communicate a clear technical vision for large-scale, distributed systems and Threat Intelligence solutions.
- Ensure the technical strategy aligns with Cyberint’s product and business goals.
- Lead the implementation of scalable architectures that support long-term growth and innovation.
- Standards & Best Practices:
- Establish and enforce technical standards, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization.
- Promote best practices for infrastructure, application development, and security design (e.g., secure-by-design principles).
- Provide architectural governance, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and security benchmarks.
- Innovation & Technology Adoption:
- Proactively introduce innovative technologies and frameworks to improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Lead the adoption of cutting-edge solutions for Threat Intelligence platforms, including data collection and enrichment pipelines.
- Identify emerging trends in the security world and integrate relevant advancements into Cyberint’s systems.
- Collaboration, Influence & Accountability:
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as the technical authority and ensure successful execution of proposed designs, fostering team accountability.
- Act as a mentor for engineering teams, driving collaboration, ownership, and knowledge sharing.
- Technical Debt Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical debt, ensuring systems remain healthy, scalable, and maintainable.
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term architectural goals, ensuring the sustainability of technical decisions.
- Maintain full accountability for the outcomes of systems, ensuring they meet reliability and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software and systems architecture, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, distributed systems projects.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS), container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- SaaS Products: Proven experience in designing and scaling SaaS products, ensuring multi-tenant architecture, performance, and reliability.
- Application Development: Strong background in designing scalable and reliable applications, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Threat Intelligence & Security: Experience with Threat Intelligence platforms, data processing pipelines, and security-focused system designs.
- Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and work cross-functionally with R&D, product, and DevOps teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical architectural decisions under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders, engineers, and leadership teams.
- Former experience of at least 5 years as a Python Backend Developer
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Threat Intelligence tools, data sources, and standards.
- Experience designing secure, multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and emerging trends in digital risk protection.
