Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender to join our team. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender technologies. You will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements, design appropriate solutions, and provide expert guidance throughout the implementation process.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Solution Design:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security goals, compliance requirements, and operational constraints.
• Design end-to-end security solutions using Microsoft Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender technologies.
• Create architecture diagrams, system documentation, and detailed design specifications.
• Ensure the proposed solutions align with industry best practices and follow security standards.

Service Description:
• Develop comprehensive service descriptions for Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender solutions.
• Clearly articulate the benefits, features, and functionalities of the proposed solutions to clients.
• Identify key service components, such as log collection, threat detection, incident response, and reporting.
• Define service level agreements (SLAs) and establish performance metrics to measure solution effectiveness.

Proposal Calculation:
• Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements to determine resource and infrastructure needs.
• Calculate the cost of deploying and maintaining Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals, including pricing, licensing requirements, and implementation timelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to present proposals to clients, addressing their questions and concerns.

Technical Expertise:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and updates in Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on security architecture, threat detection strategies, and incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions.

Project Management:
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the implementation team.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, particularly in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices, threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are highly desirable.
• A fluent command of English or German
