We are seeking an SDET automation engineer to work as part of a networking team. This position is based in Atlanta GA (Preferred), but can be performed in any CGI office in the US in a hybrid model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
Work with business customers to develop Gherkin scripts that will be added to Pytest-BDD automation scripts.
Responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality release of software products to our clients.
Develop and integrate test automation utilities.
Work within Agile project teams, continuously releasing application software.
Support continuous integration processes.
Research and report issues and defects in a problem tracking system (ALM or JIRA).
Maintain effective daily communication with team members via stand-up meetings, documentation and status reports.
Serve as the technical authority on software testing with automation framework and lead other testers.
Provide documentation, update test plans and produce test summary reports for each software release and provide testing results to team leads.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

At least 7 years shown experience in a test automation capacity with Python, Pytest, and BDD frameworks.
Experience in developing test automation for UI, API and Database applications.
Hands-on experience in AWS and Microservices.
Experience working on Lambda, S3, and Step functions.
Knowledge of Cloud formation, AWS CLI, RDS, and CloudWatch.
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or others).
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
Knowledge of Java programming a plus.
Knowledge on usage of AWS SDK libraries for automation would be a plus.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skills level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - 161,600.
