Position Description:

Linux System Admin with KVM knowledge

- Planning, designing and implementation of Linux and Oracle KVM systems.
- Perform container orchestration to automate and manage tasks
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and fix complex system problems and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Propose new architectures based on enhancements recommendations.
- Produce system design documents based on architectures, perform review of system designs documents based on architecture requirements.
- Assist other members in design and implementation plans to meets requirements.
- Perform Linux system management, life cycle management and related documentation.
- Maintain configuration standards within the Linux and Oracle KVM environment.



Essential Qualifications:
• Must have solid knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Strong skills with Ansible, JIRA, Confluence and ability to learn new tools and skill-sets
• Private and Public Cloud experience with Oracle KVM, Exadata, Docker/Podman, GITops, Ansible, Kubernetes, Red Hat Openshift
Desired Qualifications:
• Solid knowledge of Nexus, SonarQube, Jenkins, Tekton
• Deep understanding of UCS infrastructure
• Strong skills with monitoring tools using Zabbix, SNMP
Certifications:
• Red Hat certification is an asset
