The Public Health Agency of Canada is seeking candidates to surge our enforcement capacity. If you have a strong enforcement background, are great at dealing with people and want to support Canada’s efforts to prevent the importation Ebola in Canada, this position will be of interest to you.

WHAT COULD YOU BE DOING?
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with public health and border officials.
• Examine non-compliance, support enforcement and on-going investigations
• Provide professional support to PHAC officials as they carry out their enforcement duties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION...
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong communications skills, experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and conducting investigations.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in one of Canada’s major metropolitan areas and/or in proximity of airports. In particular, we are seeking candidates in major metropolitan areas with key international points of entry to Canada (e.g., Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Edmonton), but we would also welcome and consider candidates from other major Canadian cities (e.g. Halifax, Quebec, Moncton).

La personne idéale a de l’entregent, d’excellentes compétences en communication, de l’expérience de travail au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire et de l’expérience dans la réalisation d’enquêtes.

La personne idéale est en mesure de travailler dans l’une des principales régions métropolitaines du Canada ou à proximité d’un aéroport. Nous recherchons en particulier des candidats résidant dans les grandes agglomérations disposant de points d'entrée internationaux majeurs vers le Canada (par exemple, Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver et Edmonton), mais nous serions également ravis d'accueillir et d'étudier les candidatures de personnes issues d'autres grandes villes canadiennes (par exemple, Halifax, Québec, Moncton).
