CASI is a non-profit scientific and technical organization for people interested in aeronautics, space, and remote sensing. The organization itself supports research and development within aerospace engineering. The University of Toronto is a focal point for communications among members of the aeronautics and space community. This gives the Student Branch access to information on the leading edge of aerospace. The goal of the University of Toronto CASI Branch is to promote aerospace and space exploration, by creating an environment in which to pursue various topics, such as aerodynamics, astronautics, design and development, flight mechanics, operations, propulsion, and structures and materials as it pertains to aerospace research. This goal is accomplished by the activities the U of T CASI Branch facilitates.
