Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant Co-op student to join the Calian marketing team for a 4- or 8-month term. In this role, you will support the planning, development, and execution of marketing content and campaigns across multiple divisions while contributing to process improvement initiatives using AI-enabled tools and marketing technologies. You will gain exposure to a variety of marketing functions and work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of sponsorship events, webinars, and virtual events.
- Assist with the development and execution of demand generation campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage content calendars.
- Help define, track, and report on campaign KPIs and outcomes.
- Assist in creating and editing written, video, and photo content while ensuring alignment with brand standards and editorial guidelines.
- Use AI-assisted tools to support content creation, research, ideation, summarization, and workflow improvements.
- Review and refine AI-generated content for quality, accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Support website content updates and page creation within WordPress CMS.
- Assist with campaign and email activities using marketing tools, including HubSpot.
- Support the organization and maintenance of marketing assets, templates, and campaign materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI-assisted workflows, templates, and automation.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and contribute recommendations for optimization.
- Support a variety of marketing initiatives, including event preparation, merchandise research, webinars, and other team projects as required.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, marketing technology, and emerging AI tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong copywriting, editing, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with HubSpot, CMS platforms, or marketing automation tools is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.

Compensation
$22.50/hour
