Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Accounting is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing revenue recognition and inventory accounting while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations. This position plays a critical role in financial reporting, audit management, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Oversee revenue accounting processes across the company and its subsidiaries
• Manage inventory accounting and ensure accuracy across all entities
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Oversee subsidiary reporting, including local GAAP to IFRS conversions
• Lead the consolidation of subsidiary financials into group reporting packages
• Manage the audit process, including coordination with external auditors and resolution of findings
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Recruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team culture
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions, including profitability and cost analysis
• Oversee the project management office, including project budgeting
• Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• SAP experience considered an asset
Additional Requirements

Compensation:
$115,000 – $125,000 annually plus an incentive program
