Position Overview

The Recruiting Administrator supports day-to-day recruiting operations and marketing activities for the Learning Recruiting team. This role focuses on administrative recruiting support, ATS/CMS management, candidate submissions, and coordination of recruitment marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Recruiting Manager and Recruiters with administrative and operational recruiting tasks
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and internal databases
  • Conduct initial candidate pre-screening (resume review and phone screens) and share recommendations with Recruiters
  • Work with Learning Contract Managers to assemble candidate submission packages for contract employees/ICs being rehired or moved into new roles
  • Create, update, and manage job orders in ATS/CMS, including creation and cancellation as required
  • Submit and track security clearance requests
  • Conduct ATS/CMS audits (e.g., credentials, job postings, new hires)
  • Prepare and compile recruiting-related reports and presentations
  • Assist with gathering market data and formatting resumes for bid submissions
  • Support recruiting process improvement initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with planning and executing social media recruitment campaigns
  • Support creation and maintenance of recruitment-related social media content
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Maintain a central repository of recruitment marketing collateral (social and print)
  • Assist with coordination of recruitment events (job fairs, conferences), including registrations, logistics, and promotional materials
  • Support consistent branding across recruitment materials in collaboration with internal teams

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a recruiting role
  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative role, supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with ATS and/or candidate management systems (CMS)
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable supporting social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook) for recruitment purposes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret-level security clearance is required.

Compensation

$55,000 – $65,000
