Position Overview

The Country Sales Manager for Australia/New Zealand, reporting to the Regional Account Sales Executive – Asia Pacific/ROW, will be responsible for driving regional growth across key GNSS market segments including Precision Agriculture/Machine Control, Marine, UAV/Drone/Robotics, Survey/Timing, and Defense/Space. This role will focus on expanding strategic customer relationships, developing and growing current distribution companies, and executing regional sales strategies aligned with Calian GNSS objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to grow revenue across targeted GNSS segments.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage distribution partners to expand market reach and support channel sales.
  • Cultivate and grow strategic key accounts through consultative selling and long-term relationship management.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align customer needs with Calian GNSS antenna solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in technical sales and/or business development within GNSS or related high-tech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics in Precision Agriculture, Marine, UAV/Drone, Survey/Timing, and Defense/Space.
  • Experience managing distribution networks and strategic accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Bachelor’s in engineering or Electronics/Telecommunications or business with strong technical knowledge is desirable.
  • Technical acumen in GNSS / positioning systems / defence/industrial markets to credibly engage customers, partners and product teams.
  • Proven leadership/sales management experience in B2B, distributor channels, international markets (AUS/NZ + region) rather than purely local or retail.
  • Familiarity with complex sales cycles, product-technical coupling (antenna + receiver) is a differentiator.
