Length of contract: 1-year contract with possibility of extension.
As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment journey by facilitating access to medications via public and private insurance plans.
You will act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement support. Your empathy, attention to detail, and bilingual communication skills will be essential in delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities
Provide direct telephone and email support to patients requiring assistance with drug reimbursement.
Complete and follow up on paperwork related to public and private insurance coverage.
Liaise with insurers and healthcare providers to optimize drug coverage for patients.
Maintain accurate case documentation using internal systems.
Collaborate with Clinical Support Specialists and other team members to ensure seamless patient support.
Manage sensitive patient situations with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
Ensure compliance with program protocols and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
Fluent English
Minimum 1 year of experience in drug reimbursement, patient support programs, or healthcare navigation.
Strong understanding of Canadian public and private payer systems.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Discretion, maturity, and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
Additional Requirements
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer (finite movements such as typing and other office functions).
Requires mental stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, including weekends and evenings, to support operations requirements.
Pay Rate:
$25-$30/h
