Position Overview
The Director of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of an organization or business unit. This role ensures that systems, processes, and teams are aligned to deliver strategic objectives efficiently and effectively. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, optimizing resource utilization, and enabling cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage core operational functions to ensure smooth execution of business processes and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Partner with sales leadership to streamline processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and support pipeline management and deal execution.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation to support both operational and sales objectives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, including organizational change efforts and strategic projects affecting sales and operations.
- Develop and monitor KPIs across operations and sales support functions to ensure goals are met and improvement opportunities are identified.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and other departments to ensure operational alignment and support business growth.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in operations leadership, ideally within a complex or matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes, project management, and change management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Experience using data-driven decision-making and performance metrics to guide operational improvements.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to operational and organizational challenges.
- Collaborative leader with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Adaptable, resilient, and committed to fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
