We’re interested in hearing from individuals with backgrounds in:

  • Skilled trades (vehicle tech, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, IT, logistics)

Naval Technical Operator Roles – Naval Communicator (NAV Comm); Naval Combat Information Operator (NCI Op); Naval Electronic Sensor Operator (NES Op):

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain secure communication systems, including satellite, HF, VHF, and tactical networks.
  • Monitor and interpret radar, sonar, and electronic sensor data to support navigation and threat detection.
  • Assist in cryptographic operations and handling of classified communication.
  • Track, record, and report shipboard and external tactical information.
  • Support real-time decision-making in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma and/or diploma/certificate in Computer Networking, Telecommunications, or Network & Telecommunication Engineering Technology.
  • Basic understanding of digital communications, radio systems, and network protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate under pressure.
  • Willingness to work at sea and in operational settings.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
