Position Overview

Calian is hiring Fabricators to join our growing carbon-fibre production team. You’ll play a key role in manufacturing advanced composite components that support aerospace, defence, and communications projects. Whether you’re just starting out or bring hands-on experience, we offer training, mentorship, and a clear path to senior-level roles.

📍Calian Composites | Arthur Rose Facility | Saskatoon, SK🕒Full-time | 37.5 hours/week | Shift-based

• Day shift: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

• Evening shift: Monday – Wednesday, 3 p.m. – 1 a.m. and Thursday 3 p.m. – 12 : 30 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate small and large carbon-fibre components using specialized tools and equipment
  • Trim and finish parts to precise specifications
  • Bond composite structures and assist in integrating sub-assemblies into larger, more complex systems
  • Perform final packaging and prepare shipments for on-time delivery
  • Support quality inspections, laser metrology, and apply protective coatings in our in-house spray booth (training provided)
  • Follow detailed work procedures to ensure quality and safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist your teammates
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team communication

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (e.g., trades, assembly, fabrication)
  • Team mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Punctuality, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
  • No experience required – full training provided
