This is a full-time, on-site role in Ottawa, working Monday to Friday.
Position Overview
Our Production Team is growing, and we’re looking for a Production Operator to help assemble our GNSS products. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with small electronic components, using tools like soldering irons and power screwdrivers.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components by following instructions and drawings.
- Use tools like soldering irons, pliers, power screwdrivers, and ultrasonic welders.
- Work safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Production Floor Manager.
- Help with general production tasks like packing products and lifting materials when needed.
Qualifications
- Some experience with SMT soldering (Surface Mount Technology) or a strong interest in learning.
- Comfortable using assembly tools and working with small components.
- Ability to read and follow instructions carefully.
- A strong focus on safety and quality.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
