As a Software Engineer Intern at CAE, you will join a team dedicated to delivering high‑quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. CAE’s Flightscape team supports end‑to‑end products that enhance operational decision‑making using data across crew, flight, movement, airport, onboard catering, and cost management.
Airlines around the world rely on our intelligent, mobile‑enabled tools to track over 54 million flights annually and support more than 200,000 crew members across all major alliances.

This paid internship runs for three months, full‑time, starting July 1st, with the potential for continuation as a full‑time or part‑time employee upon successful completion.
We are offering four internship tracks:
  • Software Developer with expertise in C++
  • Software Developer with expertise in Java
  • QA Automation Specialists with expertise in Java
  • DevOps Engineer
Your contributions will be crucial as you provide technical support to senior engineers across design, testing, documentation, and implementation, and you will also play a key role in installing and integrating innovative software packages.
In this role, you will:
  • Engage in various engineering activities, including designing and testing software, creating comprehensive documentation, implementing solutions, and installing and integrating software packages.
  • Collect and analyse data, preparing detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Offer administrative and technical assistance to the Engineering department, ensuring smooth operations and effective project execution.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Legal authorization to work in Poland.
  • Ability to work from Kraków in a hybrid work model.
  • Availability to work full‑time starting July 1st.
  • An expected graduation date no later than July 2026; currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s (or higher) engineering program, preferably Software Engineering or Computer Science. Graduates without an active student status are also welcome.
  • Familiarity with core programming concepts and hands‑on experience in at least one of the following: Java, C++, test automation technologies, or DevOps‑related tooling.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • A strong willingness to learn new procedures, tools, and applications.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both spoken and written.

Base Pay Range

Our total rewards package includes base pay and benefits, with final compensation determined by experience, skill, location, and internal equity.

PLN 5,500 gross per month
