Description
- Fulfill the Pilot Monitoring role during Flight Simulator training under FAA and/or EASA regulations.
- Attend all elements of the training event to support the client’s training and learning experience, including pre‑flight and post‑flight briefings.
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors.
- Complete all necessary forms and checklists required for the Pilot Monitoring role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Commercial or Airline Transport Certificate.
- Airplane Multi‑Engine Land rating.
- Instrument rating with 50 hours of instrument experience.
- 400 hours total flight time (may be reduced to 250 hours with a 2‑ or 4‑year aviation degree or CAE Academy graduation with Head of Training approval).
- Eligibility to meet all TSA requirements.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Must reside within 2 hours of the training facility.
- Must be able to meet all Sim Tech‑10 Physical Demands (see section below).
Preferred Qualifications
- 100 hours of turbine time (preferred).
- Experience with advanced avionics.
Sim Tech – 10 Physical Demands
- Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Occasionally remain in stationary positions.
- Constantly adjust or move objects up to 30 pounds.
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
- Constantly perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.
Compensation
- Salary: USD 23 per hour.
