Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all initial and recurrent FSTD qualifications with all NAAs.

  • To maintain and manage the validity of National Aviation Authorities (NAA) certifications for all simulators in Dubai.

  • To produce NAA reports on-time and as required.

  • To lead and manage any Extended Evaluation Program (EEP) as applicable under EASA or UK CAA and participate as per the defined rol

  • Responsible for leading QTG and performance team.

  • Schedule a program to achieve all the milestones required by the regulator related to objective testing(QTGs) of all the devices.

  • Ensure that all requirements for the CAE QMS in relation of the NAA standards are adhered to by ECFT .

  • Interact with regulatory authorities, instructors, other engineers/technicians.

  • Present documentation and submit relevant results to regulatory authorities.

  • Review technical updates to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.

  • The incumbent makes decisions and recommendations as per formal guidelines or precedents.

  • Ensure compliance as per GFTOM(Technical Operations Manual) requirements.



Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Aerospace Engineering, A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation compliance, quality assurance, or safety management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a flight training organization or airline.

  • In-depth knowledge of international and regional aviation regulations (e.g., GCAA CARs, EASA FTL, ICAO SARPs) pertaining to flight training and operations.

  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing a Compliance Management System (CMS) or Safety Management System (SMS).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical operational requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management software is highly desirable.

  • Auditor certification (e.g., Lead Auditor ISO 9001, GCAA Compliance Auditor) is a significant advantage.
