The role we are offering you:

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, while extending your knowledge in simulation and visual technologies. We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic team in a motivating environment within the Immersive Tribe of the engineering group. Are you ready to:

  • Work closely with the production team designing features to improve the overall client experience on our Service portal.

  • Develop and maintain web applications used throughout the world by CAE customers and employees

  • Develop in C#, JavaScript and SQL using Agile methodologies

  • Troubleshoot problems by analyzing, creating, modifying, or amending existing code, design, and documentation.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL and Web technologies (Web API) is a must

  • Knowledge of nHibernate, ExtJs, CMS, Azure, WPF, knowledge of unit tests, networking (an asset)

  • Practical usage of UML, OO concepts and Design Patterns

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

  • Familiar with software development and integration, software lifecycle and configuration

  • Bilingualism an asset (French and English)

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology

  • Ability to multitask and work with individuals from different backgrounds

  • Good teamwork and communications skills

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field

Location of the internship is Montreal.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
