Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Analyze complex datasets using coding languages such as SQL, Spark, Python.

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations through compelling storytelling.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and data strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.

  • Compile, clean, and organize datasets to support accurate analytics and reporting needs.

  • Design and maintain efficient data models to enable seamless integration and analysis across systems.

  • Ensure high-quality data delivery and accurate reporting for informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with data engineering tools, concepts, and pipeline development processes (Azure, fabric, purview, etc.)

  • Ability Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing tight deadlines with high-visibility deliverables for executives.

  • Develop efficient and scalable data models and analytics solutions, particularly in Power BI.

  • Proficiency in coding languages (Python, Spark, SQL, DAX etc.).

  • Good expertise in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience with the following tools an asset : DevOps, Databricks.
