Job Summary
As Hardware Technical Product Manager (TPdM) you will lead the development and support of hardware reference solutions. You will be a part of a team responsible to develop and maintain simulation product solutions which respond to the needs of the Civil and Defence and Security projects.
Supported by the Technical Leaders, the TPdM, you will be responsible to maintain the product portfolio aligned with its respective roadmap.
Your Challenges
- Manage budget associated with product development and support.
- Manage schedule associated with product design.
- Manage phase in/out plan for reference solutions.
- Manage test plan for new products.
- Be responsible to deliver product on time & budget.
- Support the reference solution throughout its lifecycle
- Manage all stakeholders (materials, SW & HW engineering, global strategic sourcing, quality assurance, manufacturing, business units, suppliers).
- Owner of Product Change Control Board
Your strengths
- Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Several years’ experience at CAE an asset.
- Dynamic team player with sense of initiative.
- Results and customer-oriented, has good team spirit.
- Good oral and written communication skills, leadership, and process management skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility and change: Able to adapt and react positively to a variety of situations and people to respond to changing priorities; adapts to new work methods to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to manage risk, project scope, and resources.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Availability to travel.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
