ABOUT CAE:

Our CAE Aviation Training Centre in St Peters is a state-of-the-art facility, which features full flight simulators, cabin crew training mockups, and modern support facilities – all just minutes from the Sydney Airport. Further, you will also support our Perth facility, ensuring consistent EHS practices across both locations.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSE coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS). This hybrid role also includes light logistics coordination to support our technical operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HSE/ EHS career who is eager to grow in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the implementation of CAE’s EHSMS in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct and assist with EHS/HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Assist with the management of hazardous materials and substances
- Implement EHS / WHS /HSE policies and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
- Participate in EHS /HSE management reviews and improvement projects
- Provide logistics and maintenance services for facility
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A qualification in Health Safety and Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field
- Proven experience in Health Safety & Environment, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards would be highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A passion for safety, sustainability and continuous improvement
