About This Role

A member of the Civil GPSM, the Business Analyst works closely with Finance and Civil Program Management team to provide analysis and reporting services that enable effective decision-making. This role communicates directly with senior management and will interface with various functions of the organization: finance, Program Management, Proposals, engineering and operations.

The Business Analyst provides Proposals, Finance and the Civil Program Management teams with data compilation, analysis, and reporting services to enable informed decision-making in the following areas:

• Cost-performance/profitability/Gross Margin analysis.

• Product performance.

• Profiling.

• Operational savings.

• Financial forecasting.

• PRC analysis/ETC cleaning.

• Ad-hoc analysis to support business operations.

In addition, the Business Analyst will:

• Coordinate and support CPACS' governance.

• Support the development of tools to visualize the performance and status of projects.

• Review and analyze processes, tools, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

• Support the maintenance of project databases and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Bilingual (French and English).

• Good knowledge of statistics and excellent analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel: pivot table, Vlookup, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. ) and Power BI.

• University degree in related field.

• More than 5 years of corporate experience in business, finance, data analytics, performance reporting, or a combination of relevant work experience.

• Experience with an ERP (such as Planisware/Oracle).

• Easily adapts to changing priorities.

• Critical thinking skills.

• Great attention to detail.

• An analytical mind and an inclination for problem-solving.

• Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.

• Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data.

• Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to various audiences.

• Strong team player, challenging and able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong work ethic and initiative.
