Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 30+ dedicated professionals providing In-Service Support to the CP140 Simulators and Trainers located at 14 Wing Greenwood, NS; 17 Wing Winnipeg, MB and 19 Wing Comox, BC
- Overall responsibility for management and leadership of the site teams, including ensuring the resources and means are available to deliver on the contractual mandate.
- Ensure the delivery of the maintenance and customer support services meets or exceeds all contractual requirements and customer needs, while respecting scope, budget and schedule constraints
- Responsive to the TA, local squadrons, 3rd part contractors and other agencies on matters related to the in-service support operations.
- Liaise with the Technical Authority for all maintenance related activity including overseeing the design and implementation of minor updates, refurbishment and modifications as requested by Technical Authority.
- Responsible to interface with customer to resolve complex issues and ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely manner.
- Responsible to lead implementation/application of CAE Quality Management, Environmental Health & Safety and Business Continuity programs at the sites.
- Responsible for site HR matters including recruiting, hiring, performance development, training, etc.
- Responsible to develop and administer technical training plans and OJT packages to ensure maintenance personnel are appropriately trained and skilled to perform all work-related tasks.
- Track and report on all KPIs.
- Generate monthly and annual reports on site related activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy for the site and company
- Acts as principal liaison with the assigned government Program Office/Quality Assurance Representative (PO/QAR)
- Ensures compliance with all company Information Systems and data protection security policies and procedures
