About This Role
Position Overview
The Strategic Growth & Business Development (SG&BD) analyst will be responsible for supporting all functions of the Defence & Security (D&S) business operations, analysis, and administration. The successful candidate will report directly to the Lead to Award Business Excellence Leader whilst being indirectly responsible to the SG&BD Vice President for day-to day-activities to drive conformity of reporting, information flow and process across the entire organization. A core responsibility and expected result is to have an organization that operates efficiently, following a governed process, and aligns the global team to operate as one team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the scheduling and programming of sales gate reviews and ensuring approval
Ensure that the sales process updates are communicated and implemented throughout the D&S organization
Assist Business Development managers in accessing, understanding, and incorporating process improvements
Assist in creating templates, guidance documents, checklists, approval matrix, distribution lists
Responsible for scheduling and conducting onboarding sessions for new employees
Assist in event planning such as offsites and workshops
Support the development of routine reporting processes
Support business data collection
Support business dashboard / application implementation
Learn skills to support on business tools such as Salesforce, DOMO and others
Any other duties as may be required
Required qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Technology Management or 0-2 years of experience in strategic analysis and / or business development or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
Utilize entrepreneurial mindset with a natural drive to solve challenging problems
Achieve high performance standards as an individual and team member
Easily adapt and successfully operate in a volatile and dynamic market environment
Convey a professional attitude along with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environment
Ability to define problems, collect data and relay information a simple manner
Strong ability to learn the defence, training, simulation, and digital environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word
Understand the purpose of CRM and BI tools (considered an asset)
Bilingualism required (French and English)
