About This Role

As a Test Area Coordinator – Manufacturing, you will be primarily responsible for projects to be executed within the assembly and test team. You will be responsible for keeping our test areas up to date as well as ensuring health and safety.

Your challenges

• Carry out the arrangement of the test site area.

• Audit the specifications and requirements of the simulator

• Coordinate connection activities in the test site areas

• Supervise and coordinate the work of day laborers in the test site areas.

• Coordinate and monitor continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

• Ensure that 6S standards are respected and organize training workshops if necessary.

• Coordinate improvement activities/corrective actions of the CAE/external resources on the test sites.

• Monitor improvement projects and propose mitigation actions to achieve objectives.

• Coordinate the implementation of new health and safety measures.

• Coordinate activities related to maintaining the customer experience.

• Work closely with the test site analyst and coordinate the implementation of initiatives/activities.

• Determine and plan team needs to ensure smooth operational progress.

• Identify opportunities to avoid waste and inefficiency on the test areas.

Your strengths

• Hold a DEC in operations and supply chain engineering/mechanical engineering/or in administration with an operations management option or equivalent experience.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Good knowledge of work methodologies related to manufacturing and testing activities.

• Ability to manage numerous activities and constantly changing priorities.

• Dynamic, creative, focused on quality and results, enthusiastic and autonomous.

• Strong analytical mind.

• Ease of communicating in French and English – essential.

• Dynamism, sense of responsibility and boundless energy.

• Knowledge of Excel and Access software (intermediate to advanced).

• Good knowledge of the Oracle ERP environment, Microstation.
