Business Planning Analyst Position
The Business Planning Analyst will support the Regional Sales & Business Development Manager in strategic planning and governance for the APAC region. Responsibilities include managing revenue contracts, digitizing processes, and facilitating the Sales Handover process. They will ensure accurate revenue reporting and forecasting, support the Regional Sales team, and promote consistency in revenue management and sales strategy across the region. This influential role requires strong analytical skills, customer focus, and effective leadership to communicate and influence various levels of the organization.
The role we are offering you:
- Accountable for the APAC region C$180 million contract in Salesforce and liaises directly with Training Centres General Managers as per the sales handover process and driving the Operations team’s execution.
- Lead and manage CAT GET WELL opportunities (< US$500K investment books) and execute CAE governance requirements as defined by policy to promote growth and boost revenue.
- Prospect and develop business cases within the defined geography and deliver strategic business presentations to Senior Managers, Directors, and Vice President frequently.
- Articulates regional capacity planning management to support decision making process and identify risk and opportunities for Executive/Regional Management.
- Defines and spearheads digitizing efforts in Salesforce towards a CAT business organization and work with SMEs and counterparts from other regions to achieving the desired results. Special projects involvement will be required time to time.
- Builds the regional discretionary capex budget and forecast, manage, and report on monthly and quarterly basis the summary of executed spent to the Regional Operations Leader
- Maintain and extend competencies in marketing tools and methodologies, including:
- Market analysis
- Competitive assessment
- Understanding competition strategies
- Product, technology, and business practice awareness
- Maintain knowledge on CAE products and services
- Maintain awareness of competitive market offering and new technologies
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent. An MBA or Master of Finance/statistics would be a strong asset.
- Experience developing business plans and internal investment books.
- Independent thinker and able to deal with highly complex initiatives and projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Good problem solving and influencing skills.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and/or related data modelling skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems – Salesforce.
- Experience working with GEMINI/STARS.
- Strong understanding of finance principles and finance tools - Oracle/Oracle Cloud, SAP.
