We are currently recruiting for a Nuclear Services Quality Technician (Inspection) for our Peterborough, Ontario location.

Qualifications:
- College Diploma as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Technician and/or relevant trade certification with Metrology experience.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret GD&T and drawing requirements.
- Intermediate computer skills and experience including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD/CAM.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Must pass medical exams to qualify as a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW).
- Must be able to travel to customer sites.
Desired:
- Nuclear industry experience.
- Welding and weld inspection experience.
- Experience with CMM programming & operation including PCDMIS software.
- Product/Process/Equipment qualification experience.
- Electrical Assembly (cable harness, PCB, PLC) production or inspection experience.
Duties:
- Receiving Inspection of purchased items and materials.
- Document deficiencies and participate in their resolution.
- Inspect manufacturing items at production checkpoints.
- Metrology Instrument calibration and database maintenance.
- Final inspection of completed items.
- Thorough and proper recording of inspection records.
- Read, understand and implement quality procedures and instructions.

- Perform daily measurements and provide technical feedback on component/part conformance to design.

Selected applicants will be tested and interviewed.
The base hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $83,164.38 and $102,550.50 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
