Provides managerial, technical, and strategic leadership for a multidisciplinary team of Electrical Engineers and Software Engineers supporting new product development, sustaining engineering and design-based cost savings initiatives. This role ensures delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective medical device solutions by integrating hardware, software, and test engineering activities while meeting business, quality, and regulatory objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams of Electrical Engineers and Software Engineers, including staffing, resource planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Provide technical leadership across electrical design, software development, and electrical test engineering to support product development and sustaining activities.
  • Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to integrate new products and technologies into production.
  • Ensure project objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, and quality are defined and achieved.
  • Establish and maintain effective development, verification, validation, and test strategies for hardware and software systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Boston Scientific Quality System requirements, including FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor spending, and drive cost and efficiency improvements.
  • Interpret and execute company policies; contribute to development of operational policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Software, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years demonstrated People and Technical Leadership within a comparable new product development environment.
