About the role:

The Endoscopy Field Clinical Representative (FCR) provides day to day account management and clinical case support and education for Gastric and Pulmonary Endoscopy products covering accounts in the North-East of Mexico based in Monterrey or Tijuana. Setting objectives and opportunities to drive sales growth for their product portfolio together with their peer colleagues and manager. FCR will provide guidance, training, and advice in the mentioned therapies, also assist physicians during procedures. In this role, FCR will be the first point of contact for the territory and the main responsible for sales growth.

Key responsibilities

Clinical Support & Training

  • Educate physicians and allied health personnel on and support safe and effective use of Endoscopy products.
  • Provide hands-on in Endoscopy, gastric and pulmonary procedures.
  • Deliver procedural training, provide clinical support and therapy development, and consequently manage clinical evaluation. Perform product in-service and evaluations.
  • Educate accounts on product, data, and aftercare through in-service and ongoing training with physicians and staff.
  • Review and discuss relevant clinical literature with customers that supports the product adoption.
  • Deliver tools and resources that will help accounts to improve the quality and integrity of patient care as well as to assist in meeting business objectives.

Opportunity Identification & Market Insights

  • Assess account needs and identify opportunities for staff training and product awareness.
  • Identifies, manages, and reports the sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supporting in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
  • Gather and analyze field information to update market mapping and business sizing.

Account Development & Growth

  • Identify and develop new accounts primarily through collaboration with local sales teams.
  • Lead and manage the execution of new product launches.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and executing all sales/marketing initiatives and programs.

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Lead on sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a proactive plan that involves all supporting functions
  • Foster sales innovation to help our customers address their unmet business needs for the purpose of achieving sales targets.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to leverage resources and programs to drive growth.

Required qualifications: --- MUST HAVE---

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Marketing, Administration, Biomedical Engineering or Healthcare-related field.
  • M.B.A. or master's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of medical device sales
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Disposition to assist on-call duties
  • Willingness to travel: 2-3 days / week (40% - 60%)
  • Position based in North West Mexico (preferably Tijuana/Monterrey)

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of surgery, airway, and/or general surgery sales and marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and work in an environment of change
  • Experience managing CRM software - Salesforce.
  • Overnight travel required: 2-3 days / week (40% - 60%)
  • Self-driven with strong time management and planning skills, target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan.
  • Strong leadership skills focused on collaboration (internal/external) and execution/results Understanding of business and financial terms
  • Proactivity, agility & learning communication.
  • Strong organizational, selling, presentation and communication skills
