Purpose Statement:

Responsible for procuring raw materials, components, tooling, supplies and services to ensure a 100% customer service level, while achieving the targeted Quality & Cost objectives. Assist in the implementation of sourcing & commodity strategies for all goods and/or services to achieve improvements in all areas of Quality, Cost and Service. He/She will demonstrate a moderate level of decision making skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all raw materials purchasing procedures.
• He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise.
• Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials.
• Assess raw materials provider performance periodically.
• Evaluate and select the company´s raw material providers.
• Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company.
• Satisfy established raw material inventory levels.
• Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise.
• Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate required to possess at least Degree holder in any related field.
• Has at least 5-7 years experience in related field.
• Experienced in Planning, Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): interpersonal communications, negotiation, analytical, MS Office, SAP, MRP.
• Has working experience in MNC will be value added.
