Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager, APAC Logisitcs will lead and shape the regional logistics strategy in alignment with Global Logistics and APAC Commercial strategies. This role is accountable for driving execution of all global and regional logistics initiatives across APAC, fostering operational excellence, and delivering cost leverage through effective collaboration with Global Logistics, Country Logistics, and the Penang GDC team. As a strategic leader, this role will guide and influence network optimization, oversee global freight RFPs, trade compliance, and 3PL management, while elevating service delivery from T1 DCs to APAC T2 DCs, serving as the key bridge between regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsbilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Alignment: Shapes the regional logistics strategy in alignment with Global Logistics and APAC Commercial strategies. It serves as the key bridge between regional and global stakeholders, ensuring APAC priorities are represented and executed effectively, while driving standardization and providing recommendations for network changes that enhance service, reduce costs, and strengthen overall logistics performance
  • Performance & Financial Management: Leads the financial planning cycles for APAC distribution SG&A by reviewing and analyzing headcount, warehouse costs, outbound freight, and other key metrics to deliver cost leverage. It is accountable for creating and managing departmental budgets, setting goals, and identifying cost-saving initiatives to meet business targets
  • Operational Excellence & Execution: Drives optimization and collaboration with logistics stakeholders to ensure efficiency, compliance, and on-time service to BSC customers. It oversees the implementation and execution of logistics initiatives, projects, and SOPs to enhance service delivery from T1 DCs to APAC T2 DCs, while also establishing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs to proactively identify and resolve operational issues
  • Transportation & Network Optimization: Supports global transportation RFPs, helping to identify opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and network optimization across all modes, enabling more efficient local and regional operations
  • 3PL & Vendor Management: Provides support to APAC countries in managing RFP processes for transportation, freight audit/payment, and 3PL partners, helping ensure cost-effective and efficient service. It assists in ongoing carrier and 3PL management, including contract execution, performance monitoring, and compliance with SOPs, and serves as a resource in vendor negotiations to help countries achieve favorable terms and maintain quality and service standards
  • People & Capability Development: Develops and empowers the APAC logistics team to build expertise in transportation, RFPs, 3PL management, and cost optimization. It acts as a liaison across functions such as planning, allocations, DCs, and commercial teams to strengthen collaboration and reinforce adherence to quality and service standards. Additionally, it provides expertise and project leadership in implementing new technologies that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and cost effectiveness across the transportation environment

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations, or a related field. Experience in distribution center management is highly desirable
  • Over 12 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations or related functions, including 3–5 years in managerial roles leading high-performing teams across multiple countries
  • Proven skills of stakeholder management in matrix organization, together with communication skills to influence and collaborate with others in a well-grounded manner
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure, working with a sense of urgency in fast-paced, demanding environments while managing multiple priorities with flexibility and agility
  • Ability to work across different cultures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
