Senior Accountant
About the role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for contributing to day-to-day and month-end accounting, tax and compliance activities, with a particular focus on supporting all aspects of VAT, WHT, corporate and statutory reporting, external and internal audits. You will regularly interact with staff, corporate functions, auditors, tax authorities and work with the Shared Service Center.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with preparation of financial statements and CIT returns
- Supporting statutory and corporate audits
- Working on implementation of new SAP – supporting testing, training & documentation in the country:
- Review Test Cases for respective areas
- Shadow take part or review recordings of testing test cases for Informal and Formal phase
- Execute test cases for UAT and Day in Life in QTest
- Provide feedback and follow up on those feedback to Project Team
- Driving process improvements
- Assisting with functional projects and taking additional accounting responsibilities as they arise
- Working on KSeF implementation
Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience working with SAP system and its implementation and testing
- University degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Knowledge of local tax legislation and statutory reporting requirements
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Experience working with shared service centers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable to changing priorities and good at organizing work
- Ability to interact in a highly professional and collaborative manner with all levels of staff, both internal and external to the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
