About the role:
The WATCHMAN Marketing Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and campaigns that drive adoption of WATCHMAN Left Atrial Appendage Closure therapy. This team includes a dynamic group of critical thinkers focused on the WATCHMAN referring healthcare provider audience.

The Product Manager II is an individual contributor reporting to the WATCHMAN Direct-to-Referrer (DTR) Group Marketing Manager and partnering closely with fellow DTR Product Managers to initiate marketing activation through sales team-led initiatives, owned digital channels and advertising.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Activate on referrer marketing strategy via campaign pull-through that will be leveraged by the WATCHMAN Therapy Awareness team and broader Atrial Fibrillation Sales (AFS) organization
  • Oversee Therapy Awareness/sales team marketing collateral orders and operations
  • Assess and guide Therapy Awareness/sales team marketing requests which may lead to revision of existing assets or creation of new. Examples include:
  • Digital tools (Quick Send Messages, Referrer Insights/Next Best Action functionality or messaging, eDetail)
  • Internal sales team talking points/field direction memos
  • Clinical data release guidance and HCP-facing assets
  • Awareness months (Afib, Stroke, etc.)
  • Podcast recordings
  • Partner with digital/media team ensuring strategy alignment and application to programmatic advertising, social media, website management and other digital advertising channels
  • Collaborate and align with marketing team counterparts including Product Marketing for other WATCHMAN audiences (Patient and Implanter), Consumer Insights experts, Content Experience Managers, Digital Marketing Managers, Digital Enablement and Data Analytics
  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing and field team initiatives, generating early learnings, and driving continuous real-time improvement across all initiatives
  • Manage marketing submissions with Legal, Regulatory and Compliance partners

Required qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA)
  • 5+ years business related experience: Medical device, pharmaceutical, and/or advertising agency
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Willing to travel approximately 10% annually

Preferred qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
  • 2+ years Brand Marketing/Product Management experience, including direct-to-healthcare provider audience
