Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer Manager
About the role:
The Senior Manager leads a team of highly motivated supplier quality engineers to ensure material supply compliance with Global Medical Device regulations. Leads a team to onboard, maintain and support material suppliers; investigate supplier-related material and service nonconformances; engage proactively with suppliers to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement. Generates and champions new ideas, approaches, initiatives. Operates with a global perspective across BSC sites, business units, and functions. Provides appropriate oversight, risk evaluation, and action to mitigate impact to Boston Scientific.

- Monitors, evaluates, and summarizes project progress and results.
- Influences Sr. Management on potential improvements or enhancements to quality systems and processes for BSC and our suppliers.
- Contributes to the development and oversight of organization budgets through regular cost analysis and spending.
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 7+ years of related and progressive work experience within the medical device industry
- 5+ years demonstrated success leading and developing high performing teams
- Project management experience
- Leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Solid computer skills: Minitab; MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master of Science degree
- Strong understanding of materials and processes
- Strong working knowledge of US and International regulations and standards applicable to BSC including 21CFR820, ISO 13485:2016
- Technical experience within the areas of Material Controls and Quality Management Systems
- Experience working with functions such as Quality Systems, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, Regulatory, Research and Development, and Design Assurance
- ASQ Certified CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA a plus
