About the Role:

The Senior Program Manager will oversee the integration of three transformational programs at Boston Scientific: Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), and the SAP upgrade to S/4HANA. This role requires a highly skilled, experienced professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs and managing multiple stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, key dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among program teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Monitor program progress and performance, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Drive the successful implementation of the EPM, PPM, and SAP upgrade initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program team members.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the programs’ steering committee.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executive leadership.
  • Implement change management practices to drive organizational transformation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a technical discipline, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale programs, preferably involving technology implementations in corporate environments.
  • 3+ years of experience at Boston Scientific, ideally with a focus on R&D project management, finance program implementation, and/or complex IT software implementation.
  • Strong understanding of EPM, PPM, and SAP systems and processes, with the ability to collaborate across R&D, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for financial planning, analysis, and project portfolio management.
  • Proven project management skills in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, with experience managing both Agile and Waterfall phases.
  • Experience utilizing change management practices and presenting to executive leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, organize and lead workshops, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a results-driven mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Change management certification.
  • Finance acumen and project experience with financial technologies such as Hyperion Oracle, SAP, and Anaplan.
  • Knowledge of PPM tools like Planisware and Planview to lead PPM process transformation.
