Sr. Sales Operations Analyst
About the role:
The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will drive analytics, strategy, and planning for the Cardiac Diagnostics sales team of Boston Scientific. As an integral member of the Sales Operations team within our Commercial Operations function, this position partners directly with various Sales, IT, R&D, Product Management and Marketing leaders and is responsible for building data models needed to resolve challenges within the Sales Organization.
The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst aids the field sales organization in reaching their sales goals. This is done through, but not limited to, pro-active sales analytics, planning sales strategies, territory and data modeling and general field sales support, as well as education, training, and communication. This role requires a high level of business acumen, keen sense of urgency, customer solution focus, multi-tasking skills, comprehensive organizational skills, analytical skills and technical skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Self-starter develops and deploys best practices, identifies new customer insights to drive business, highly accountable, and delivers above expectations
- Develops and distributes analytics and reporting to assist field sales and sales leadership tracking of key performance indicators and trends
- Collaborates with Sr. Sales Leadership and internal partners to develop and execute strategic projects to help drive sales execution
- Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes being used to operationalize sales strategy
- Determines and institutes optimal use of Sales Enablement platforms and tools to facilitate sales objectives
- Train business users to self-serve in analytics using existing resources. Educate business users on data nuances and develop their ability to identify and distill actionable items through data mining. Drive adoption of storytelling rooted in data analytics.
- Makes strategic recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the field sales force
- Provides effective support for the field sales team by responding to all requests in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- Acts as a liaison for the Sales team to internal departments
- Optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes as needed
- Utilizes PowerBI and available Business Intelligence reporting tools to deliver intuitive analyses to the field
- Drives efficiencies within both Commercial Operations and the sales organization
- Understands the voice of business/users and can translate into executable business processes
- Participates in organizational special projects as they arise
What we're looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related disciplines
- 5-7 experience with degree
- Experience supporting a sales organization
- Strong data analysis skills: able to collect and analyze business information and draw accurate conclusions and present to Senior Leadership
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex business operations challenges
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work to positively impact business performance
- Must be a self-starter with clear focus
- High sense of urgency and commitment to execution
- Outstanding communications skills, able to communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Person must be a team player and be able to work with a positive attitude in the fast-paced world of sales. Individual should be able to build long lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the sales and BSC organization
- Person who is detailed oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerQuery, PowerPoint and Word
- Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerBI, including PowerQuery, DAX, model building and report building experience.
- Microsoft SQL DML experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
- At least 2 years of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or related Customer Relationship Management software experience
- At least 1 year of Microsoft Power Automate experience preferred
- Prior experience working in Sales Operations, Finance, Sales Compensation preferred
