Key Responsibilities |
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced Functional/System Analyst to support Supply Chain (MM/WM/EWM) projects within the Global IT Operations Pillar. This person will be part of the EMEA Product Team which carries out development, enhancement, documentation, and support of MM/WM/EWM SAP projects. In addition, the person will analyze, design, document, test and deliver business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements. This person should have minimum 5+ years of Experience in SAP MM/WM/EWM/. With minimum 1-2 full life cycle implementations in SAP. Education with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyzing client's business processes and requirements related to logistics, including materials management, inventory management, warehousing, procurement, sales, and distribution.
- SAP System Implementation: Leading or participating in SAP implementation projects, including configuring logistics modules, customizing settings, and integrating them with other SAP modules like finance and production
- Solution Design: Designing SAP logistics solutions, preparing functional specifications, and guiding the development and testing teams during implementation.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Participating in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the delivered solutions meet the business requirements.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation related to SAP logistics configurations, processes, and solutions
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and cost reduction within the logistics domain.
- User Training and Support: Conducting user training sessions to educate employees on using SAP logistics functionalities effectively and providing post-implementation support to resolve issues.
- Data Migration: Planning and executing data migration activities to transfer relevant logistics data from legacy systems to SAP.
- Work closely with the product team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution.
- Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction.
- Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security).
- Appropriately communicate impediments, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items.
- Work closely with the Product owner in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support
- Understanding of Forecasting, Demand Management, MRP
- Experience with mapping all the Warehouse processes like Picking, Put-away, Packing and Shipping in SAP
- Experience in IDoc Integration Process.
- Detailed knowledge of SAP Procurement Cycle, Inventory Management processes, hands on experience in configuration of P2P and IM processes, including Batch Management, Serialization, Product Life Cycle Management best practices
