About the role

This role is responsible for the development & adoption TAVI therapies in an assigned market. This position will design and execute therapy awareness plan that is in alignment with the strategic priorities of Boston Scientific Interventional Cardiology division. This role is responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Develop annual Marketing plan, ensuring the implementation of the strategies and activities defined for the TAVI Category
  • Ensure sales achievement, profitability, market share and growth TAVI Category
  • Prepare and implement promotional grill; brochures, materials, sample book focused on the sales channel attended.
  • Identify key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have the greatest effect on use of company products by meeting with existing and potential customers. Classify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care. Determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
  • Identify key patient journey and referral networks opportunities and strategies for TAVI therapies - from referral, fellows, nurses, technician, purchaser and Electrophysiology to Primary Care Physicians.
  • Develop and enhance relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution.
  • Develop and continually enhance relationships with administrative hospital personnel (e.g. casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to gain knowledge on unique hospital business dynamics and to identify key decision makers.
  • Define educational strategic programs to educate physicians on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations.
  • Lead Field Clinical representatives clinical training on TAVI and Sentinel therapies giving an accompaniment in each step of the certification process.
  • Develops action plans (i.e. weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of particular accounts and discussing issues with field salesforce to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
  • Lead Market Therapy analysis for TAVI: Competitors, behavior patterns, prices, portfolio, pains, therapy tendencies, step by step techniques, clinical data, objection management
  • Develop new accounts by generating the correct go to market segmentation by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Sales Management team in evaluating business conditions. Identify creative sources of information that can help inform our strategic business plans. Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.
  • Secure HCPs interaction process aligned with BSCI compliance policies

Knowledge

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding and wide application of principle, theories, and concepts in the field. Applies a full understanding of area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships. This job is the fully-qualified career-oriented position.

  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

Liaison

  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Uses discretion, diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations. May escalate serious issues to manager.

Mentoring

  • Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel.

What we are looking for in you

Required qualifications:

  • Biomedical Engineering, Marketing or Admon
  • Ease of travel at least the 30% of the time: Nationwide.
  • Understanding value generation Health Ecosystem.
  • Advanced English.
  • Good presence/presentation and ease of speech.
  • Statistical analysis handling Microsoft Excel, SalesForce, Tableau – desirable
  • Self-Directed

Preferred qualifications

  • Base in Mexico City
  • >5 years of experience in the area of Marketing/sales/FCS/medical device training or Pharma. Interventional cardiology area desirable
  • Experience as a project leader (verifiable)
  • Business acumen; Understanding P&L and business value
