The job requires a self-motivated individual having more than 10 years of experience in designing and developing test frameworks for the testing of Web server, mobile application and medical device software.

He / She should be a self-starter who is excited about taking on significant challenges and thrives in an environment where continuous learning is required. This candidate is comfortable communicating to technical peers and enjoys working on small, self-reliant teams. The individual should be a team player who is willing to collaborate and work in cross functional teams across geographies and cultures. Should be well versed with overall R&D, Quality, and Regulatory processes for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements, user needs and system design, perform system evaluation activities (i.e. validation, verification).
  • Transform requirements into comprehensive test protocols and automated test scripts.
  • Develop and maintain high quality non-medical device software tools in a regulated environment to support system design and system evaluation activities.
  • Documents software development and/or test development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards
  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving System level issues.
  • Interact with business analysts, SMEs and QA team members

Qualification & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (BE, B Tech, MCA, MSc)
  • 10-15 years of product testing experience with at least 4 or more in system testing with devices and simulators.
  • Experience in regulated product development environment, particularly for medical devices, a plus.
  • Highly accountable and responsible. self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Leading the team independently

Manual Testing:

  • Manual Testing of Product preferably with Medical Devices.
  • System level testing preferably with actual electronic devices, mobiles and simulators with firmware, drivers and applications.
  • Test Case writing by analyzing requirements at System level.

Automation Testing:

  • Experience/proficiency in C# with Selenium Web Driver test automation or Appium mobile Driver.
  • Good understanding of OOPs concepts.
  • Test automation script creation by understanding of manual Test Cases.
  • automation framework basic understanding (modular or POM or Cucumber).

Testing Tools:

  • Good to have experience with change management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, AccuRev, windchill, ALM , GitHub etc.
