Responsibilities:

• Hands-on System Software testing, Automation, Integration testing and unit/coverage testing on below combinations of Embedded software:
  • QNX real-time OS
  • QNX Hypervisor
  • BSPs (x86 & ARM architecture)
  • Middleware components for multimedia, graphics, audio etc.
  • QNX Cloud Solutions

• Create or update test cases based on product requirements or customer requirements or identified problems
• Develop automation test cases based on the test specifications.
• Run a series of tests against new software loads on reference or customer hardware
• Generate and update defect reports, verify resolved issues.
• Recreation of observed issues through a variety of techniques for root cause analysis as per inputs from the Test lead
• Collaboration with internal test and development teams

• Ensure QMS process is 100% adhered, Follow and ensure compliance to workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Mid-level experience in Embedded software testing
• Experience on C Programming, Python & shell scripting
• Mandatory to know the unix Internals.
• Experience in IPC Programming on any RTOS / Linux
• Familiarity with common processor architectures (i.e. x86/ARM)
• Working knowledge of QNX & Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of source versioning, problem reporting, and Continuous Integration build systems (SVN, Git, JIRA & Jenkins)
• Ability to work and participate in a team setting with an open collaborative style
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are necessary
