Position Summary
We are looking for a curious and adaptable student developer to research and implement an innovative AI solution for unit test automation. This is an opportunity to work closely with the Blackberry QNX Services Engineering Team in Ottawa, working with all major car companies.
Location: Ottawa, ON
Length of Term: 8 Months
Responsibilities
* Research the potential of LLM's API for automating unit tests.
* Develop an AI-powered solution for unit test automation.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and utilities used by the Technical Project Management team.
* Collaborate effectively with the Engineering Services Team.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong foundation in programming fundamentals.
* Familiarity with REST APIs, web frameworks, and development tools.
* Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus.
* Experience with LLM, GPT, or similar NLP models is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in working across different operating systems and the command line.
Additional Asset
* Experience participating in hackathons.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Strong problem-solving skills.!
