Position summary

The QNX Automotive Sales team is seeking an experiences Senior Project Manager with proven experience in customer-centric project management, and a track record of delivering automotive software solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, spanning sales, product, marketing management, engineering stakeholder and must have experience and strong technical aptitude in managing complex software projects covering embedded automotive infotainment programs. You will be responsible for managing scope, timelines, internal alignment, and delivery plans to ensure project success.

    You will:

    • Manage pre-sales of QNX® Sound (automotive audio/acoustics) as well as other infotainment solutions.
    • Support sales GTM strategy, sales, and business development efforts, to drive market adoption of QNX® Sound.
    • Provide excellent customer service to build and foster relationships with automotive customers and partners, to ensuring customer success.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer projects, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives, technical requirements and success criteria.
    • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from concept-to-delivery for software solutions, including managing RFI / RFQ / SOP process, proposals and customer submissions.
    • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and management reports.
    • Coordinate the compilation of required project activities, including plans, contracts, requirements & design documents, test plans & reports, and other technical data.
    • Manage distribution of work packages to the responsible function within the company and/or external customer ensuring awareness of and commitment to project requirements.
    • Monitor progress throughout the project cycle, ensuring cost and time constraints are met and acting to ensure problem resolution, as necessary.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally within customer and QNX engineering

    You will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience
    • Significant experience in technical program/SOFTWARE project management, within the automotive domain (ideally including sound/acoustics)
    • Accomplished skills in project planning, management, decision making, critical thinking, problem solving.
    • Effective leadership, innovation, analysis, and communications skills.
    • Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects with different time frames.
    • Any direct experience with QNX is an asset
    • PMP certification would be an asset but is not required.
