The DevOps Engineering Specialist is a strategic role within the Application Engineering team, primarily responsible for defining, maintaining, and evangelizing DevOps culture, standards and best practices across BDC IT. This person ensures consistency, security, and efficiency in software delivery by creating governance frameworks, publishing golden-path templates, and driving adoption across all development squads. While the role supports CI/CD and reliability enablement, its core mission is standards ownership and cross-squad enablement.

  • Enable adoption across squads through training, workshops, and coaching.

  • Support CI/CD pipeline management and process automation as secondary tasks.

Key Deliverables

  • Comprehensive DevOps standards documentation.

  • Pipeline and repository templates aligned with SSDLC principles.
