POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Advisor, Performance and Planning you will play a pivotal role within the team, reporting to and working closely with the Director of Performance and Planning. You will be responsible for collaborating with your colleagues to maintain an oversight of all key initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and integration of all performance and planning activities.
Amongst your key responsibilities you will be accountable for:
Autonomously plan and monitor the team calendar of deliverables to leadership teams
Hold the team accountable to meet key deadlines and identify opportunities for efficiencies
Engaging the right stakeholders in a timely fashion throughout the implementation process.
Collaborating with the team to apply strong storytelling capabilities to develop clear and effective presentations with a strong message catered to the target audience
CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Planning and stakeholder alignment:
Responsible to lead and develop the team’s governance calendar in collaboration with other stakeholders within the organization
Identify all cross functional stakeholders impacted at different moments throughout the performance planning calendar. Ensure appropriate audience is involved in key milestones.
Communicate key dates, processes and roles and responsibilities with key players to ensure alignment and collaboration in the implementation of each initiative
Schedule presentations with leadership and ensure stakeholders have the necessary context to make timely and informed decisions

Prioritizing, organizing and coordinating implementation:
Efficiently support the Director and the AVP in keeping an up-to-date inventory of upcoming priorities and consequently planning the team’s capacity and managing stakeholder expectations.
Ability to be agile and pivot quickly. The team works in a high-paced environment in which they must juggle between planned deliveries (i.e. Corporate Planning, Performance Guidelines etc.) and ad-hoc strategic projects.
Ensure that team members have visibility on their priorities.
Organize and support team members to progress according to plan and deliver on deadlines

Communications
Support and develop key communications for the team such as drafting emails and follow-up notes, PPT presentations collaborating with team members, updating performance guidelines, etc.
Apply expert story telling skills craft messaging of key communications based on audience by identifying impacts, risks and most relevant information based on their reality
Ensure communications are clear, relevant, and impactful based on the target audience
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in: Business Management, Education, Marketing and Communication
Minimum of 5 years of experience. Previous experience may include, but is not limited to consulting, communication, product management, strategy etc.

Human skills:
Energetic, positive and dedicated team player
Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, manage and implement multiple projects that may be running in parallel. This is where, amongst other, you will leverage your strong management skills
Able to build and deliver structured and engaging presentations adapted to the target audience
Able to work with Excel to analyze and interpret data to extract insights and develop recommendations

Technical skills:
Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement
