Job Summary
Avaya is seeking a results-driven Distributor Channel Account Manager III to drive growth by managing and supporting Tier I sales channels, including distributors, OEMs, dealers, and retail partners. In this role, you will represent Avaya in all sales-oriented activities while building and strengthening partner relationships to achieve mutual success.
About the Responsibilities
Channel Sales and Management
- Generate "push" demand for Avaya products and services through Tier I indirect sales channels.
- Represent Avaya to distributors and partners, ensuring alignment on sales, marketing, and business strategies.
- Drive revenue growth by maximizing partner focus on Avaya products, services, and solutions.
- Manage large quotas and a significant territory or account size with responsibility for both products and services.
Partner Development and Support
- Collaborate with partner organizations to identify and expand value-driven opportunities that benefit both parties.
- Provide training, marketing support, and sales enablement to partners to enhance their ability to sell Avaya solutions.
- Build strategies around solution and practice development areas with key GSI/Alliance partners.
- Assess future directions for Avaya products/services and develop joint strategies for long-term revenue growth.
Service Offerings
- Educate and train partners on Avaya service offerings to create compelling value propositions.
- Support partners in growing services offer revenue and integrating services into their portfolios.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work directly with 1st Line Channel Managers to align on business objectives and execution.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency in go-to-market strategies and partner engagement.
About You
Experience:
- Proven success in channel sales and account management, preferably in technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience managing large quotas and significant territories/accounts.
- Background in developing and executing partner strategies, including OEM and distributor partnerships.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong ability to train, educate, and enable partners on products, services, and value propositions.
- Strategic thinking with the capability to align product directions with partner goals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
